We love being around the water. That is why we decided to stay here, plus being a Marriott member and have started at some of their places. The hotel is very clean and never seemed crowded during our stay. We never waited on an elevator or very seldom seen other guests on our floor. I chose a harbor view room that had a slide open, outside door so we could let the fresh air in. The view was amazing. Leaving the door open did get a little noisy in the morning early afternoon with the bike path below, the rowers training in the water and sea planes taking off. I am not complaining at all. Our room was already early, and the staff kept it clean. The pillows and beds are wonderful. The front desk staff treated us great as well as the bell men and concierge desk. Thank you all for the recommendations for dining. One word of advice. Most people walk to work here, and it seems nothing to them to walk across town. I recommend taking a cab or Uber. It was about $6 to Uber to Gas Town from here and $20 to the airport. The amenities here are nice. The pools could be a little warmer for us. Now for our biggest complaint. One evening, we went to the restaurant/bar for a late snack. Our server was a gentleman who could not give a crap about us. We barely received 3 half glasses of water and 3/4 full glass of soda. Then, sometime later, he came back and took our order. An order of chicken wings, ceasar salad, and artichoke dip and chips. About 35 minutes later, the food came out by an expeditor, and we had to request more drinks. The food was just ok, but the service was awful. I never received my refill on my soda. Now, on to the breakfast buffet at the hotel. My recommendation is that don't go here. Go to Cora's a few blocks away instead. The buffet, us 3, agreed it was one of the worst we ever had. At $40, per person, it is way overpriced for greasy bacon, not really scrambled eggs, brown and serve sausage. They have an omelet station, but I didn't want to chance it. We thought the service was bad the night before. It was worse. Our waitress was the rudest person ever and could care even less the guy the previous night. Again, we received 3 half full glasses of water with no ice. We requested ice. My orange juice was warm. We, our server, came back to clear our plates. I asked for ice and more orange juice. After 10 minutes, I went to the server station, got my own juice, and went and got my own ice. I want to make a point. Out of all the Marriotts we have stayed at, the service in the restaurant, along with the overpriced food, is unacceptable. Not to a Marriott standard. Our continental breakfast at Embassy Suits in Seattle was 100 times nicer, nicer staff, and as much selection as this one for free. We did enjoy the pools, the room, the front desk staff, bell hops, and the free 2 hour bike rental.

Upmarket hotel somewhat removed from the downtown core. Very professional staff. Good food and service at restaurant. Represents the Westin brand well. Truly a heavenly bed. Minimal glitz, maximal product quality. Quality finishes and good taste throughout. Thank you.

Westin Bayshore is in a beautiful location and great for walking along the harbour front. Close to Stanley Park. Our room was ok but was showing some wear. Minimal amenities and not up to usual Westin standards. Good wifi and the beds were comfortable. Lots of hot water and towels, except the bathroom could have been cleaner. Service is not very good with only one desk staff handling a long line of guests when we checked in. Also room service stops at 11 PM and the bar closed at 11 as well which is inconvenient for late arrival. I likely wouldn’t stay here unless the room was available at a very cheap rate.

We spent two days at the Westin Bayshore and the hotel is wonderful. The staff and service are top notch. The young man who checked us in was so professional. We got a room in the tower and the view was awesome. The concierge was wonderful and helped us with dinner reservations and directions. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel is beautiful and we thank everyone there.

Loved this hotel! They upgraded me to mountain/harbor view, which was breathtaking. Pool and cedar sauna were so relaxing in the thick of winter. It’s right by Stanley park and they have bikes you can borrow for free, a perfect amenity. I had a drink at the main bar — fun cocktail list even if the drink ultimately wasn’t amazing. Good service everywhere. Front desk was very friendly and accommodating and the guys handling bike rentals (also valets I think?) were very funny and kind. Bartender was attentive. Highly recommend!
